From Creeping Sharia:
Muslims plan to challenge ban on sharia law in Oklahoma (updated)

It’s a sad day when Americans actually have to vote on banning the use of sharia law in America. What’s more sad, is that Muslims in Oklahoma will file lawsuits to overturn the banishment of sharia law in Oklahoma.
Will Obama and his terror-friendly DOJ stand with Muslims in an effort to allow Islamic sharia law in Oklahoma courts? Will the ACLU and terror-linked CAIR defend sharia law in America?
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma voters have approved a measure that would forbid judges from considering international law or Islamic law when deciding cases.
Republican Rex Duncan, the sponsor of the measure, called it a “pre-emptive strike” designed to close the door on activist judges “legislating from the bench or using international law or Sharia law.”
Members of the Muslim community called the question an attack on Islam and some of them said they are prepared to file a lawsuit challenging the measure.

Update: Right on cue, the terror-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the terror-defending ACLU have announced a lawsuit.
On Thursday, November 4, the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OK) will hold a news conference with religious and civil rights leaders in the State Capitol Building to announce the filing of a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of an anti-Islam ballot measure (State Question 755) passed in yesterday’s election. The measure amends the state constitution to forbid judges from considering Islamic law or international law when making a ruling.
Remember, CAIR leaders have stated:
“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant.” ~ Omar Ahmad
“I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future…” ~ Ibrahim Hooper
