Appeals court convicts Somali axe man

COPENHAGEN - An appeals court has found a Somali man guilty of a terror attempt for breaking into the home of a Danish cartoonist who caricatured the Prophet Muhammad.
The Western High Court on Tuesday upheld a February guilty verdict by a lower court, which gave Muhideen Mohammed Geelle a nine-year prison sentence. It will decide on a sentence Wednesday. The prosecution is asking for a 12-year prison term.
