MUSLIM FASCISTS' VIRULENT JEW-HATRED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA-DAVIS LAST NIGHT
University of California-Davis has a disruptive group of Muslim brownshirts who take every chance they can to act in a disgusting manner to enforce the blasphemy laws under the sharia (restriction of free speech). Islamic Jew-hatred. The campus police did nothing to stop their disruptions. (hat tip Janet)
The following three letters have been submitted this morning concerning the event last night: one by David Siegel to the Davis Enterprise, another by Marvin Goldman to the UCD Provost, and the third by me to the UCD Campus Police Chief Annette Spicuzza. I would encourage each of you who was there to write letters as you feel appropriate.

To the editor:
Last evening (February 27) at a presentation at Wellman 106, I witnessed behavior that has no place at UC Davis. A presentation, “Defending the Israeli Image”, sponsored by Chai-Life Club at UC Davis, Chabad of Davis and Stand with Us by 2 Israelis was repeatedly interrupted by hecklers and individuals whose intent was clearly to disrupt the proceedings. One individual planted himself at the back of the room and continuously shouted slurs (“rapists, murderers”) and refused to allow the event to proceed. Although most of the individuals who could be described as opposed to the ideas presented confined their behavior to occasional hooting and jeers, 6-8 individuals felt empowered to prevent any collegial exchange of ideas. Under the circumstances, the Israelis, a former member of the Israeli Defense Forces and a Druze woman showed grace and courage.
Disgracefully, campus security and the UC Davis Police did nothing to prevent this behavior. I was told that they were following orders to do nothing unless there was violence. They also refused to take the names of the disruptive individuals. Clearly this sets a chilling precedent for future campus public events where one individual could disrupt the event without any fear of consequences. To me, this represents the antithesis of what should occur on a university campus. I call on the campus administration, particularly Chancellor Linda Katehi, to investigate what occurred at this event and take appropriate actions against those who behaved outside of the UC Davis code of conduct. I further call on Chancellor Katehi to take appropriate action to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Subject: Last night's Israeli event in Wellman Hall
Dear Dr. Hexter;
We spoke briefly after the event last night. I'd like to add something that is very disturbing to me and others. The main "agitator", a student who declared that he was there to shut down the presentation, and continued to loudly interrupt the session, later after the session made an interesting comment.
He told several of us that he was paid $50 to "disrupt" the meeting and "close it down". He said he was paid by the Muslim Student Union to do this. I'm no lawyer, but this premeditated act seems to violate more than common civility. I am disgusted by our campus lack of clear policy on disruption of events under the alleged protection of the First Amendment. I feel that this should be investigated and I expect that some more cogent policy be clearly stated by the campus. I'd be happy to discuss this with you and the campus executive but I think something must be done and done soon.
By the way, I did video all the first hour and can provide you with a copy of what went on, even though I am not a professional photographer. It was a shameful thing to watch!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you.

Dear Police Chief Spicuzza,
I am writing to complain about UCD Police behavior at an event at 7:00 pm in Room 106 of Wellman Hall last night (Monday, Feb 27, 2012). That event was a program featuring two Israelis talking about what they do in Israel (one was a soldier, one not).
From the outset of the program, hecklers interrupted the program making it impossible for the program to proceed. One particular heckler hurled epithets at the speakers preventing their exercise of free speech--and the ability of the audience to listen. I am including a link to a video made at the event so that you can hear for yourself what he said and how he said it.
(youtube url). (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZChRd0irVOc&feature=youtu.be)
After this had gone on for some time, I approached a police officer who was standing idly by and asked why he was there if not to ensure order--and why the heckler was not being removed. He specifically and absurdly responded to me: “We have been instructed by our superior not to stop hecklers, and if you try to stop the hecklers, we have been instructed to close down the program.”
Eventually, after some 15 or 20 minutes the heckler left and the program continued. Heckling to a lesser degree continued all the way through the question and answer period. That the police did nothing was frankly infuriating. I would appreciate your response.

Israel Street posted this report:
If you ever wanted to see how American universities have become bastions of Israel hatred, you should have been at the University of California-Davis last night. Two Israelis, a soldier named ‘Ran’ and a Druse woman named ‘Ranya’, had been brought to the United States on a tour by the pro-Israel advocacy group StandWithUs (SWU) to “tell their stories.” Their program was sponsored at UCD by the campus Chabad group.By the time the talk was scheduled to begin, approximately 125 students and community members had swarmed into the lecture hall–filling the room to ‘over capacity’–meaning that at least 20 students had to stand against the side and back walls of the room.Of these 125 attendees, at least half were clearly identifiable as ‘pro-Palestinian’ students (with keffiyehs, Palestinian flags, Free Gaza T-shirts, and other ‘Palestinian’ paraphernalia). Numerous other Palestinian supporters were unable to get in because of fire regulations, stopped by the Cal Aggie Hosts who were supposed to be controlling the event.Along with the UCD Campus police who had several officers on site. And so the program began, with the Northern California SWU representative introducing the speakers and the hecklers beginning to heckle. Then the first speaker, the IDF reserve soldier “Ron”, began to speak. As soon as he mentioned the word “Israel”, approximately 40 of the Palestinian supporters who were seated got up and disingenuously walked out (‘disingenuous’ because many of their seats were then taken by the Muslims who had been stopped at the door or who were lining the walls). And immediately the serious heckling began, led by an Indian student in the back of the room: “How many women have you raped?” “How many children have you raped?” “You are a child molester.”You can click on the video that your humble servant made by clicking here (youtube url). The heckling continued unabated for the next 15 minutes. The speaker did his best to continue, but it was impossible to hear what he was saying. And the cowering police did nothing. When your humble servant asked one of the police why the police were standing idly by, he answered: “We have been instructed by our superior not to stop hecklers, and if you try to stop the hecklers, we have been instructed to close down the program.”And the heckling continued . . . but at some point the main heckler apparently tired, and the speakers were able to get through their presentation, presentations punctuated by shouts and insulting laughs from the crowd. Then the question and answer period started and quickly devolved into accusations of Israeli soldiers killing Palestinian babies and civilians (met with shouts of approval and loud applause from the crowd), and a call for the soldier to refuse to serve. It wasn’t long before the moderator judged that the students were so disrespectful to the speakers and to the rules of procedure that the program had to end.But the heckling continued as the students streamed out, with several near-altercations occurring between pro-Israel supporters and the jeering students. All in all, the Israelis are to be commended for remaining calm in the face of such open hostility, yet the program was a sad commentary on the state of affairs on American campuses.
